The JournalismAI Discovery Lab is our updated and expanded e-learning experience aimed to empower journalists, editors, product managers and newsroom people with the basics of AI. An opportunity to learn at your own pace and at your own time.
This is an initiative designed by the JournalismAI team at the London School of Economics (LSE) and supported by the Google News Initiative.
Our courses and resources are designed for students, journalists, editors, product managers, lecturers and newsroom people - including everyone in and around journalism.
There will be no complicated maths or programming involved. JournalismAI Discovery Lab is the perfect first step if you are a complete beginner, and a helpful refresher course if you’re familiar with the principles.

While our new e-learning platform is currently available in English and Spanish, we remain deeply committed to our global community. We will continue to offer our email-based courses for our French and Portuguese-speaking communities, with a full relaunch coming in the next few weeks.
